Budget Transfers and Revisions

Budget transfers within an Index (or two indexes with the same budget manager) must be completed through Banner Finance Self Service. For help with these on-line budget transfers, refer to the instructions found in Step By Step: Self Service Module Budget Transfers and Finance Self Service Quick Reference – Budget Transfers.

For budget transfers between different Indexes with different budget managers, use the Request for Budget Revision and/or Transfer Form. This form should also be used for all budget revisions. Do not use this form to correct accounting errors, to charge other departments, or similar entries. For such entries, use the on-line journal voucher system.
