November 5, 2015 / By: UST CISC Department

Students looking for something extraordinary to do this summer should consider taking STAT 390: Contemporary Research Design and Analysis in Environmental Health – a study abroad course taught by UST professors in Croatia. Through this course, Drs Curran (CISC), Martinovic (Biology) and Schrunk (History) will introduce students to the intersections of water, environment, health and research. Students will collaborate with researchers from the Croatian National Institute of Public Health and conduct research and data analysis onsite. Throughout STAT 390, students will explore Croatia and visit many world-famous sites, including Plitvice National Park, the Danube River wetlands, the Mediterranean island of Hvar and the St. Klement archeological site.
