Reverend Oliver F. Williams, C.S.C., is a faculty member of the Mendoza College of Business and is director for the Center for Ethics and Religious Values in Business at The University of Notre Dame. Williams is the editor or author of 15 books as well as numerous articles on business ethics in journals. He served as an associate provost of the University of Notre Dame and is a past chair of the Social Issues Division of the Academy of Management. In 2006, he was appointed a member of the three-person Board of Directors of the United Nations Global Compact Foundation. He has served as a visiting professor in the University of Cape Town in Africa and Kyung Hee University in Korea. He is an ordained priest in the Congregation of Holy Cross.
The Veritas Institute at the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business will present the 2015 Hesburgh Lecture Series in conjunction with the Notre Dame Club of Minnesota. The goal of this series is to provide stimulating and thought provoking dialogue in local communities.
