For more than 50 years, Dan Dolan has pursued a career in real estate. He was a leader in improving the professional and ethical standards in real estate and was an early promoter and employer of women in real estate sales. His companies include Dan Dolan Realtors, a residential real estate brokerage company based in St Paul; the housing developments of Evergreen, an upscale residential development in Woodbury; Wexford of Eagan; and Duck Pass in Hugo. His commercial developments included Oakdale Crossing Business Park and other Woodbury and Oakdale commercial developments.
Throughout his career, Dolan has been actively involved in nonprofit boards, with the merger of Cretin and Derham Hall High Schools in St Paul, and has helped fundraise for many causes including Catholic Charities, American Cancer Society, and the University of St Thomas. He also served the community as Prime Minister of the Saint Paul Winter Carnival in 1966 and King Boreas XLII in 1978. He has been married to his wife Joan for 61 years, and together they raised 5 children.
He may be eligible for retirement, but Dolan is just as passionate as ever about real estate business today and continues to receive offers of employment.
