Family Business Breakfast Series
Friday, Sept. 21, 2018
If a family business has the goal of ownership continuity to the next generation, education and communication need to play key roles. In addition to teaching children about the business, parents must help develop their talents to pursue a career path that’s the right fit, either in the family business or elsewhere. The owning generation must educate the upcoming generation about the business: balance sheets, strategy, values, how the business operates, and more. This helps members of the next generation make thoughtful decisions about entering the business and also educates them to be engaged owners.
At this breakfast event, we learn from Sandro Bonomi, CEO of RuB Inc., as he shares his story of educating the eight generation about the family business, to determine if any will participate as future employee-owners in the business, or just as owners. We’ll learn the processes and procedures his family is using, that can be replicated in other family firms.
First-time attendees are invited to join us for breakfast as our guest to see if it meets the needs of your family. Regular registration for one breakfast is $200 per family or sign on for the whole season (seven breakfasts) for $1,250.
