Debra Broderick

Deb (she/her) has a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas, Graduate School of Professional Psychology and has been with CAPS since 2004. Deb integrates developmental, psychodynamic, multicultural and emotion-focused theory in her approach to counseling. Deb enjoys helping students explore issues of identity, emotional awareness and expression, and the developmental transitions of young adulthood (self, career, relationships). Her clinical interests include eating disorders, grief and loss, trauma, and clinical supervision.

Deb lives in St. Paul and enjoys being active in all the Minnesota seasons, as well as spending time with family, friends, and pets. She and her wife are traveling enthusiasts and look for every opportunity to explore new places in the world, including Minneapolis.
