Programs in Education Leadership lead to a graduate-level master of arts degree for both K-12 and higher education leaders, education specialist degree with administrative licensure options or a doctorate in education. In the Department of Special Education, programs are geared toward classroom learning and hands-on application. As we have done for thousands of students, we are here to help you gain professional skills, an ethical mindset and hands-on practice through expertly taught coursework and engaging field experiences with professional education partners. Along the way, you will also become part of an unsurpassed network of faculty, students and alumni. All teaching licensure programs meet the most recent licensure requirements established by the State of Minnesota and are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and approved by the Minnesota Board of Teaching.
