  • The Playful Learning Lab
    The Playful Learning Lab at the University of St. Thomas is a research group led by Dr. AnnMarie Thomas. Our team of research students, affiliated educators, and collaborators work together to creating engaging, hands-on experiences for PK-12 students and educators, with a focus on fun.
  • OK Go Sandbox
    Educators can access exciting and inspiring lessons and resources from Dr. AnnMarie Thomas' collaboration with the band OK Go. Find fun-filled STEAM-focused videos and lesson plans for use in K-12 classrooms (and beyond).
  • How to Become a Civil Engineer
    A new civil engineering resource developed by MN DOT and SRF Consulting provides K-12 students with a portal to civil engineering activities and career information.
  • Professional Development for Educators
    Are you looking for a custom STEAM, Engineering Design or Maker oriented professional development program for your school? The Center for Engineering Education has experience creating professional development programs to specifically meet school's needs and interests.   • STEPS Camp
    The Science, Technology & Engineering Preview Summer - STEPS - program is an introduction for 6th and 8th grade girls to the exciting world of science, technology, and engineering.
  • Explore Engineering Days
    Explore Engineering Day is a one-day hands-on exploration of undergraduate engineering at the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, MN. It is designed for current high school Sophomores and Juniors.
  • Educator Play Dates
    Dr. AnnMarie Thomas hosts free monthly playdates for educators, artists, and makers. These will happen on the third Tuesday of each month throughout the school year.
