Financial Aid

Each year, through the generosity of our benefactors, funds are available to award as scholarships to our officially declared majors and minors.

In the past, we have awarded a fairly large number of small scholarships on a semester by semester basis. For various reasons, the department has agreed that, beginning with the 2017-18 academic year, we will award a smaller number of more substantive scholarships. (These awards will be made for the entire year, which means that we will not have another round of applications in the fall.) Preference will be given to students with demonstrated financial need who have been active participants in the Catholic Studies program.

We will continue to offer small subsidies to students spending a semester at the Bernardi residence in Rome.

Applications will be provided in Spring for the following academic year. Contact Ann Serdar or Dr. John Boyle with questions. See the general financial aid website for additional financial aid information.

Latino Leadership Scholarship

Incoming students who are active in the Latino community (and meet all other appropriate qualifications) may apply for the Latino Leadership Scholarship, offered through the Center’s Beyond Career To Calling program based on a generous grant from the Lilly Endowment.
