How does one integrate faith and a professional career?  In particular, how does a Catholic school guidance counselor work with students and the tenets of the faith? How does she balance motherhood and her professional career?

The "A Conversation with..." series continues as Ms. Rachel Kemp, a guidance counselor at Saint Agnes School, discusses her work in the fields of mental health and education.  She will give a brief presentation, followed by a Q&A session.

The "A Conversation with..." series is a new program being run by the Professional Leadership Formation program, a part of the Joseph and Edith Habiger Institute for Catholic Leadership.  The Professional Leadership Formation program believes that a critical aspect of the work of preparing students for professional life is to bring them into contact with faithful Catholics in various fields.

There are four talks in this semester's edition of the series:

September 18: Ronnie Santana (’13), Catholic Studies and Philosophy

October 2: Rachel Kemp (‘08) Catholic Studies and Psychology

November 13: Melissa (Hackenmueller) Hamilton (‘09) Catholic Studies and Philosophy

December 2: Courtney Gregar (CSMA,’12) Catholic Studies and Education
