Purpose of the First Destinations Survey
Our graduates do a variety of activities following graduation. The First Destination Survey reports they are volunteering, employed, enrolled in graduate programs, and enlisted in the military. The timing for securing employment or other activities varies.
The First Destination survey data closely reflects the job market our graduates encounter after leaving St. Thomas and is not used as a way to measure individual student success. Using the data better helps the university to prepare ourselves, and our students, for the changing world whether they choose work, graduate school, or even volunteerism after graduating.
We rely on this data to help students, alumni, administration, and government officials adapt to the needs of our community. Please take a moment to assist us in fulfilling our goal to find out where our graduates go after they leave campus.
