How to Apply to the Opus College of Business

The first step is to apply to the University of St. Thomas. If you’re already enrolled as an undergraduate student at St. Thomas, you don’t need to apply separately to Opus. You’ll be encouraged to choose a major once you have earned 48 credits, and by choosing a business major, you’ll automatically be part of Opus College of Business.

Business Learning Through Service

At St. Thomas, critical learning often happens outside the classroom. Business 200 (BUSN 200) is a service learning course required for all undergraduate business students. Students complete 40 hours of volunteer service in the community, and reflect on what they’ve learned in a series of in-class discussions. Through this experience, you’ll gain valuable skills and an enhanced understanding of social issues, which strengthens your development as an effective and principled business leader.
