You’ll be amazed by the talent the Twin Cities attracts and creates. Whether you’re looking for a big name artist or for an authentic indie band, you’ll be able to see the shows you want without traveling across the country.
The Twin Cities is home of the Jucy Lucy burger and is a cultural melting pot of food and culture, boasting Irish, German, Italian, Asian, Hispanic, Middle-Eastern and, of course, Scandinavian influences. Your challenge will be choosing from many small, family-owned establishments and an abundance of fancy restaurants.
Our downtown campus is one block from Nicollet Mall, with current retail offerings including everything from weekly farmer’s markets, to upscale clothiers and national discounters to art galleries and one-of-a-kind boutiques. Along Nicollet and Hennepin Avenues alone, there are more than 2.1 million square feet of retail space. Plus, it’s easy to hop on the light rail and go to Mall of America anytime.
The Twin Cities metro has a whopping 1,651 lakes and boasts one of most extensive regional and city park systems in the country. RelocateAmerica calls it the best park and recreation system in the nation. Minneapolis is one of the most bike-friendly cities in America, according to Bicycling magazine. The City of Lakes doubled its percentage of bike commuters in just three years. Nice Ride bicycle sharing stations are located on our St. Paul campus and within blocks of our Minneapolis campus.
Minneapolis-St. Paul is considered one of the best sports metros in America, bolstered by the recent fanfare over its new stadiums. The Twin Cities region is a mecca for major league sports – including Minnesota Twins baseball, Minnesota Vikings football, Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx basketball, and Minnesota Wild hockey.
