Case: Using Human Centered Design to Create New Models in Health Care: Hitch Health

This case describes the use of Human Centered Design to identify underserved needs and to create new business models in health care. In this instance, the innovators identified transportation as a key issue in health care delivery to low-income populations. They developed an innovative solution and now face the challenge of bringing this business model to market. Is this a local problem or an opportunity to develop a health care platform that could apply across the country?

Case Facilitator: John F. McVea, faculty director for the MS in Health Care Innovation, Health Care MBA, and Executive MBA.

Featured Speaker: Susan Jepson – Interim CEO & Co-Founder of Hitch Health
