Venture into Success

St. Thomas was one of the first schools in the nation to launch a comprehensive, advanced program in entrepreneurship. This is because entrepreneurship is so much more than investing in new businesses or products—our graduates learn to confidently manage limited resources, identify business opportunities and develop business plans.

We offer graduate study and an undergraduate concentration in entrepreneurship to give students these skills, which are invaluable to companies in this time of fluid, lean business practices. Whether starting a new venture or managing a company’s launch of products or services, our graduates are sought after for the competitive advantage they bring.

Our experienced, accessible faculty and our technologically advanced Schulze Hall headquarters combine to give students the complex knowledge, business acumen and professional polish to assume leadership roles.

Graduate Study Options

Graduate students in our Full-time Flex MBA and Part-time Flex MBA programs can choose a new-venture management / entrepreneurship track. This combination gives students the wide-ranging business education of an MBA, as well as advanced skills in entrepreneurship.

Schulze School of Entrepreneurship

The Schulze School of Entrepreneurship, which is part of the St. Thomas Opus College of Business, brings together the university's graduate and undergraduate degree programs in entrepreneurship. The School, located in Schulze Hall on the Minneapolis campus, also provides a home for the centers and institutes that provide entrepreneurship-related and education-related programs and services to the public.
