The Department of Biology offers a wide variety of opportunities to students to engage in the topic of sustainability. Sustainability initiatives involves efforts that minimize our impact on the environment and our resources in order to protect human and ecosystem health of future generations.

This joint project between the Biology Department and the Grounds Division of Facilities Management was started in Spring of 2016 and has successfully increased pollinators on campus.
