Application Requirements
Apply online (for free) using our St. Thomas application or the Common app.
We require transcripts from all high schools, colleges and universities that you’ve attended - both in the United States and abroad. If the transcript includes a grading scale, please make sure that’s included as well. View Requirements for your country.
For international first-year students, unofficial transcripts are acceptable during the application phase. However, official transcripts are required upon arrival at St. Thomas.
For international transfer students, official transcripts are required during the application process to allow for proper evaluation of your transfer credits.
International students are required to prove a minimum level of English proficiency to be admitted to St. Thomas.
You will need to submit copies of the picture page from your passport and your dependents' passports if they will be accompanying you. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after you first enter the U.S. However, we strongly recommend that your passport be valid for the duration of your study here.
You’re welcome to submit a personal statement/essay, letters of recommendation, official ACT (school code: 2102) or SAT (school code: 6110) test scores or any other materials you think will enhance your application.
Contact the international admissions office at international@stthomas.edu for advice on what to submit.
Application materials may be emailed to international@stthomas.edu or mailed to:
