How safe is the campus?
St. Thomas is located in a residential neighborhood in St. Paul, Minnesota, and St. Thomas prides itself on being a safe place for all of its students, faculty, and staff.
There is a 24-hour Public Safety department, residence halls are locked at all times, blue emergency lights are found throughout campus, and there is a free escort service. Student can request an officer escort anywhere within six blocks of campus at any time.
What special services are available to international students?
The Office of International Student Services (OISS) provides support for international students at St. Thomas through a variety of services to help international students with:
- immigration advising
- job/career questions
- personal life
- tax issues and finances
- social/cultural adjustment issues
- accompanying family
- housing and practical life
