Welcome 欢迎 Bienvenidos स्वागतम् Tukwaniriza اهلا وسهلا Velkommen 환영합니다 स्वागत
The University of St. Thomas currently hosts 436 international students from 59 countries, representing every continent, in undergraduate and graduate programs. They come to UST for many different reasons, including the high quality of the education and academic staff, the respected national rankings of the university and its programs, personalized attention from professors, the welcoming and inclusive student body, the beautiful campuses, or the outstanding quality of life in the Twin Cities.
The office of international admissions is here to assist international students throughout the process of applying and coming to study in the U.S. and to help prepare them for success at UST. Services include arranging campus visits, answering questions, reviewing applications and issuing I-20 and DS-2019 forms to admitted students.
Who’s an “international” student?
International admissions handles the cases of students who either need a visa to study in the United States or completed secondary school outside of the U.S. Generally, this includes people who are:
not U.S. citizens
not legal permanent residents or refugees
dual citizens who completed their secondary schooling abroad
If you are unsure whether you should apply to UST as an international student, you should contact International Admissions at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out whether or not you qualify as an international student.
How can somebody apply?
All undergraduate international students (freshmen and transfer students) must apply to St. Thomas through International Admissions. Graduate students must apply directly to the graduate program that they would like to attend. For specific information, follow either the undergraduate or graduate admission requirements links at the top of the page.
