Nomination Processes

The Adjunct Faculty Council By-Laws detail how to conduct elections for AFC members.  They were approved by the President's Cabinet on Thursday, November 6, 2014.

The self-nomination process requires simple information (e.g. name, primary program/department, etc.) and a statement which would inform the other adjunct faculty about the nominee (e.g. concerns, agenda, positions, etc...).  All submitted nominations are verified with the candidates prior to posting of the nomination.  An election is then conducted among all adjunct faculty to determine who will fill the open seats.

Look for more detailed information this spring, 2018 on how to self-nominate for open AFC seats during the 2018-2019 academic year.  At that time you might also consider becoming members of the Faculty Senate, or the faculty/university committees for which there will be open seats.  For more information visit http://www.stthomas.edu/adjunctcouncil/broaderinvolvement/
