Graduate Counseling Psychology Learning Outcomes
The Mission of the Graduate School of Professional Psychology is primarily oriented toward educating and training mental health practitioners who complete their practica and frequently seek employment in community-based settings that serve underserved groups. The program also prepares practitioners for work in hospital and medical settings, university counseling centers, corrections, and private practice. Our students advance the common good through providing evidence-based and culturally-competent care to the clients they serve. We offer a generalist education that provides graduates with the skills to work in a variety of settings.
