Justice & Peace Studies BA

Student Learning Outcomes

  1. Insertion 
    Students will participate in an experience in which they are intimately introduced to a direct experience of poverty, injustice, violence, or marginalization. This experience of disorientation will broaden or de-center their worldviews. 

  2. Descriptive Analysis:
    Students who graduate with a Justice & Peace Studies major will demonstrate skills to analyze how power operates in social contexts. 

  3. Attitudes & Aptitudes
    Students will demonstrate a commitment to being responsible members of their communities who are actively working to make the world a more just and peaceful place.
