The information below relates to the 2016 Career Fair. Information about the 2017 Career Fair will be available in fall.
The Forum on Workplace Inclusion offers a professional Career Fair that is open to the public free of charge. With one-on-one coaching, workshops, and tools to help candidates prepare – our Career Service Center is staffed with experts. They coach people on improving resumes, provide tips for giving a compelling elevator speech, help prepare for interviews, and share best practices for successful job search strategies. Resumes can be printed at the Career Service Center for no cost.
Meet with more than 50 Upper-Midwest employers looking to hire career-minded professionals. The Career Fair is free and open to the public but pre-register to have your resume viewed by participating companies in advance.
Dress code is business attire- make sure you look your best!

- Individuals who hold or are pursuing a college degree

Career Insights for Veterans: Navigating the Civilian Hiring Process
In this seminar focused on aiding veterans in their post military careers, Sheila Jessen, Military Sourcer for Cargill, will discuss the civilian hiring process from the employers’ perspective, including:
- Insights to veteran job seekers on strategies to assist with their job search process
- Translating their skills
- New tools/trends in the civilian job search arena
Afterwards, join recruiters for a group discussion and hear case studies that will generate joint learning/understanding between employers and military members/veterans. Through this program, recruiters and veterans will come together for cross-talk and problem solving and allow each group to learn more about the challenges and roadblocks that the other side is facing.
