 Women's Studies, an interdisciplinary program,
draws upon extensive research to help students better understand
women's experience of the past and to analyze women's situation
today, nationally and globally. Since its theory incorporates not
only gender but also race and class differences, Women's Studies
coursework also helps students develop informed awareness of
cultural diversity and the process of social transformation.
