The National Women's Studies Association held its annual conference in Montreal, Quebec in November 2016. Three Women's Studies students (Jamie Bernard, Maggie Huettl, and Emma Kopp) and a faculty member from St. Thomas attended, as well as several students and faculty from other ACTC (Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities) schools. UST English professor Dr. Elizabeth Wilkinson presented a paper entitled “Marathoning and Menstruation." The conference provided a fabulous opportunity for all attendees to learn about and discuss gender issues.
