Dr. Anne Klejment earned her Ph.D. in U.S. History from the State University of New York at Binghamton, where one of her specializations was in the History of American Women.  She was a loyal member of the feminist reading circle at Smedley’s Bookstore in Ithaca, New York.  At the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh, she was coordinator of the women’s studies program and taught the History of American Women and Introduction to Women’s Studies.  At UST she has taught the History of Women in the U.S.  Klejment has published books and articles on Catholic Worker founder Dorothy Day.  She is currently writing on the evolution of  Day’s pacifism.
