Dr. Angela High-Pippert has been a member of the Women’s Studies Advisory Committee since she came to UST in 1999, and now serves as director of the program.  Dr. High-Pippert teaches Women and Politics and many other courses within political science.  Most of her published research is in the areas of citizen participation and women and politics, including the effects of family and work on political participation, media coverage of women activists, and the effects of women representing women in office.
