Dr. Ann Johnson is a former director of Women’s Studies, and teaches History and Systems of Psychology and a study abroad course in Paris and London, "Psychoanalysis and Feminism" with Dr. Britain Scott. Her research is on second generation women psychologists in the U.S. Her recent work in collaboration with Dr. Elizabeth Johnston of Sarah Lawrence College, focuses on women who received their Psychology Ph.D.s between 1906 and 1945. Her most recent work examines the careers and contributions of women of that generation who were trained at and taught at the University of Minnesota, including noted developmental psychologist Florence Goodenough. |
