Have you ever thought about living a more mindful life? A life that promotes a sense of well-being even with all of life’s hectic moments? Whether you are new or experienced in mindful practices please join us each week for a 45 minute meditation session in the Wellness Center. These sessions will be guided by a professional and will be every Tuesday 12pm.
The facilitator of our sitting-meditation sessions is Dr. Brendel. Dr. Brendel has received extensive training alongside Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, founder of the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. As an author and researcher on this subject, Dr. Brendel regularly facilitates faculty-learning circles, conducts workshops, and provides guest lectures on mindfulness practice at the University of St. Thomas.
