Amnesty International

The mission of Amnesty International-UST chapter is to do our part to end all human rights violations including, but not limited to, forms of discrimination and mental and physical abuse.  Our goal is also to promote the universal standards of human rights which should be granted to every person around the world without regard for race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, color, national origin, or handicap.

We pledge to achieve these goals by educating our peers and by using direct action from Amnesty International’s urgent action files and theme campaigns.  An Action File is a request from Amnesty International for immediate action on the behalf of a person facing dire/immediate circumstances.
