USG Elections

Special Election Process

USG holds elections two times a year. The Fall Special Elections include positions available that were not filled in the previous elections for the upcoming year. Students who wish to run for a position will need to fill out a candidate election packet and bring this document to the mandatory candidates meeting in ASC 240 at 8pm on Thursday, October 2nd. Candidates who will not be able to attend the meeting must turn their packets into the Campus Life Office (ASC 325) by 4pm on Thursday, October 2nd.

Candidates will interview with the Elections & Credentials Committee and the USG General Council will vote on the new members at 6pm during the USG General Council Meeting. For more information regarding this process, please feel free to contact the Elections & Credentials Chair.
