Summer Research Network Grant Program

THE SUMMER RESEARCH NETWORK GRANT PROGRAM HAS BEEN SUSPENDED OWING
TO BUDGET REDUCTIONS. THE PROGRAM WILL BE REINSTATED AS SOON AS
ADDITIONAL FUNDING BECOMES AVAILABLE.

This program is designed to encourage the development of rich and intellectually stimulating, departmentally-based research and scholarship communities involving faculty and students during the summer.   It supports such activities as lunches, speakers, advertising, and field trips. 

 
A maximum activities award of $1,000 per department is available.  In addition to that amount, the person directing the summer program in that department can ask for an appropriate stipend to lead the program (e.g. $100).

Applications are due at 5:00 pm on Friday, March 25, 2011, pending availability of funding.
