THE FACULTY MENTOR TRAVEL GRANT PROGRAM HAS BEEN SUSPENDED OWING TO BUDGET REDUCTIONS. THE PROGRAM WILL BE REINSTATED AS SOON AS ADDITIONAL FUNDING BECOMES AVAILABLE.
The Faculty Mentor Travel Grant Program recognizes that in many cases the natural culmination of a faculty-student collaboration under the Young Scholars and Collaborative Inquiry grant programs is a presentation by the student at a scholarly conference. In recognition of the faculty member's role as a mentor to the student making the presentation, and as a way of capping off the faculty-student partnership, the Faculty Mentor Travel Grant Program provides funding (when available) to support faculty mentors' attendance at conferences where their students will present papers that emerge from collaborations funded by the Young Scholars Grant Program or the Collaborative Inquiry Grant Program.
Maximum award is $700.
