University Relations
Welcome to the University Relations office at St. Thomas
Our mission is to provide services in four primary areas - marketing communications, media relations, government relations and neighborhood relations - and in doing so to present an honest, positive image of the University of St. Thomas.
These services touch a wide array of on-campus and off-campus constituents. We write, edit, design and take photos for publications, ads and Web pages to help academic programs recruit students. We place stories in newspapers and respond to media requests for information. We publish Bulletin Today, a daily online publication chock full of campus news. We address neighborhood concerns. We work with public and government officials on policy and funding issues.
As we strive to enhance the reputation of St. Thomas, we in University Relations are especially mindful of the need to communicate openly and clearly with our many constituents. We will succeed in making St. Thomas a more vital and vibrant university only if our message is understood and embraced both by those on campus and in the broader community.
