Glad,
Rosholt, Fusco sharp for Men's Track

Glad, Cory Fusco and Joe Thomas and junior Peter Rosholt had
strong performances at Saturday's Maverick Invite hosted by
Minnesota State, Mankato.
Glad was third out of 61 runners in the 60 meters in 7.09 and
second in the 200 meters (22.04). Rosholt took second in the
weight throw (53-0), just 1 3-4 inches off the provisional
qualifying mark. Fusco was sixth in the mile in 4:18.13, just
off the NCAA provisional qualifying time of 4:16.70.
Thomas tied for third in the high jump (6-6). Soph Matt
Schroeder was eighth in the pole vault (15-1). Soph P.J. Thiesen
(50.88), senior Jason Schwietz (51.08) and junior J.J. Kirby
(51.90) all ran well in the 400 meters. Colin Sullivan was fifth
in the 5,000 (15:57.03); Bryce Beckman was 12th in the 800
(1:58.97); and Will Hawthorne was eighth in the 3,000 (8:50.81).
The Tommies compete Saturday in Northfield at the
Minnesota-Wisconsin Border Battle hosted by St. Olaf
