When I reached my PR in last years conference meet and placed second. It was a big PR (over a meter) and moved me into second place.

I decided on St. Thomas because when I toured the campus it felt more comfortable than all the other places I visited. The school sold itself. The number of possible majors and also the opportunity for finding a job after school with the help of a network of alumni drew me to St. Thomas. The opportunity to compete at a high level in athletics was important, but I came to St. Thomas because I knew I would leave with a good education and that is the most important reason I came to St. Thomas.
