"This photo was taken at the Sikh temple in Delhi, India. Sikhism is a religion that started about 500 years ago with a belief in one god. All people entering the temple must cover their heads as a sign of respect. Bathing is an integral part of the religion and is a sign of purification. Sikhism stresses an importance on physical cleanliness and the importance of appearance. Most rituals are preceded by a bath."
