The International Education Center (IEC) was established in 1983 to coordinate and promote international opportunities for St. Thomas students. The Center manages five central areas:

• Study Abroad advising and administration

• Short-term program and semester program development and administration

• Study Abroad Resource Library

• Coordination of International Exchanges
