Pandemic Planning

The University of St. Thomas is monitoring the situation with the H1N1 Novel Influenza virus very closely. See www.stthomas.edu/pandemic/.   As of August 8, 2009, the CDC had determined that while there was a pandemic infection (i.e. the world-wide spread of an influenza-like illness including H1N1) the H1N1 virus is now behaving like seasonal flu.
In keeping with CDC guidelines, and unless the situation changes as determined by the CDC, the university will proceed with study abroad programs.
