Hear current students discuss their experiences and ask questions that you may have about the community at UST

11:00 - 11:30 a.m. SMALL GROUP DISCUSSIONS

This is your opportunity to meet with your Orientation Leader and become acquainted with other new students.  Review your folder, ask questions, and learn the ins and outs of student life.

11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. LUNCH & STUDENT SERVICES INFORMATION TABLES

Representatives from various student service offices at the University of St. Thomas will be available to answer your questions.  If you haven't already done so, now is the time to get your student ID photo taken, inquire about purchasing a parking permit, and/or visit the UST Bookstore to purchase books for the semester.  Visit the information tables and enter a drawing for free rental of books for the semester!

1:00 - 1:30 p.m. ACADEMIC EXPECTATIONS PANEL

This faculty/staff panel will provide you with strategies for academic success as you make your transition to the University of St. Thomas.

1:30 - 1:55 p.m. SEXUAL HARASSMENT/VIOLENCE POLICY TRAINING

In this required session, we will outline the university's policies on sexual harassment and violence.  The session will include a brief overview of acquaintance rape and key prevention tips.

Complete your program evaluations, receive door prizes, and ask any final questions.

2:00 p.m. OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

If you are interested, you can take a foreign language or math placement exam, take the self-paced computer portion of the computer competency requirement, or sign up for a library workshop portion of the computer competency requirement.
