Parent & Family Orientation

Parents, family, and loved ones of first year and transfer students are welcome and encouraged to attend orientation. We realize the transition to college can be a big change for the entire family. At orientation, you can attend informational sessions designed especially for parents, talk with faculty members, take building tours and hear the experiences of other parents.

For more information on attending orientation as a parent or family member of an incoming student, please see the first-year Orientation page. New first-year students can register a parent or family member for O&R when they submit reservation materials in May-early June.

Parents of transfer students are also welcome! Students can call the Dean of Students office at (651) 962-6051 to register parents for Transfer Student Orientation.
