Parents, guardians, family, and loved ones of first-year and transfer students are welcome and encouraged to attend orientation. We realize the transition to college can be a big change for the entire family. At orientation, you can attend informational sessions designed especially for parents and guests, talk with faculty members, take building tours, and hear the experiences of other parents and guests.
For more information on attending orientation as a parent, guest, or family member of an incoming student, please see the first-year orientation page.
New first-year students may register a parent, guest, or family member for Orientation & Registration when they submit reservation materials in May/June.
Parents, guests, and family members of transfer students are also welcome! Transfer students may call the Dean of Students office at (651) 962-6051 to register parents, guests, and family members for Transfer Student Orientation.
The Parent Resource website contains a great deal of additional information for parents and family members of St. Thomas students.
