Parents, family, and loved ones of first year students are welcome and encouraged to attend orientation. We realize the transition to college can be a big change for you as well. At orientation, you can attend informational sessions designed especially for parents, talk with faculty members, take building tours and hear the experiences of other parents.
For more information on attending orientation as a parent or family member of an incoming student, please see the Freshmen Orientation page. New first-year students can register a parent or family member for O&R when they submit reservation materials in late May-early June. The parent fee for attending O&R will be $10/person.
Parents of transfer students also welcome! Students can call the Dean of Students office to register parents to attend Transfer Student Orientation.
The PARENT RESOURCE division of Student Affairs contains a great deal of additional information for parents and family of UST students.
