1:00 - 1:30 p.m.	WELCOME AND INTRODUCTIONS Welcome to our New Student Orientation! Featured guests will outline the dimensions of our community and offer suggestions for success at UST.	JRC 126 Auditorium
1:30 - 2:15 p.m.	ACADEMIC & COMMUNITY STUDENT PANEL Hear current students, faculty and staff discuss their experiences and ask questions that you may have about the community at UST	JRC 126 Auditorium
2:15 - 2:45 p.m.	SMALL GROUP DISCUSSIONS This is your opportunity to meet with your Orientation Leader and become acquainted with other new students.  Review your folder, ask questions, and learn the ins and outs of student life.	Various locations
2:45 - 3:15 p.m.	STUDENT SERVICES INFORMATION FAIR Representatives from various student service offices at the University of St. Thomas will be available to answer your questions.  If you haven't already done so, now is the time to get your student ID photo taken, purchase a parking permit, and/or visit the UST Bookstore to purchase books for the semester.  Visit the information tables and enter a drawing for free rental of books for the semester! 3:20 - 3:45 p.m.	SEXUAL HARASSMENT/VIOLENCE POLICY TRAINING In this required session, we will outline the university's policies on sexual harassment and violence.	JRC 126 Auditorium
3:45 - 4:00 p.m.	CLOSING & DOOR PRIZES Complete your program evaluations, receive door prizes, and ask any final questions.	JRC 126 Auditorium

Summer 2010 Program Schedule

We are making significant changes to the program schedule in 2010 by reducing visits to a single-day. This will allow us to provide more personalized attention in the registration rooms for students and also reduce the parent orientation fee. We will offer overnight accommodations for any out-of-town guests the night before or of their session.

Please be advised that students are required to attend all programs from 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Information from each session will be posted to this site in August, after students and their families have attended the sessions.
