Fall Welcome

              Fall Welcome Schedule

In coordination with the Department of Campus & Residence Life, student orientation will host Fall Welcome events for new and returning UST students. Fall Welcome events will take place September 5 - 8, just before the start of the semester.

The schedule of events is as follows:

 

Saturday, September 5: First-Year Student Move-In

Sunday, September 6: Returner Move-In, Activities from 1-5pm

Monday, September 7 (Labor Day): Breaking Ice Theater Productions, Brunch, and Success Seminars. A personalized schedule of the day has been created just for you! If you are a residential student, you will receive your schedule upon your arrival to campus and if you are a commuter student, your schedule will be given to you at the Commuter Student meeting at 10am on Sept. 7.

3:00-4:00 - Join the New First Year Student Involvement Program - CONNECT FOUR!!
Sign-up for Connect Four - the first-year student involvement program you heard about at summer orientation. Meet the student and staff facilitators, learn more about the program details, and sign-up to become part of the first class of Tommies to enjoy this experience. Connect Four is designed to help first-year students develop peer connections, utilize campus resources, and learn to engage in civil discourse. Organized around the components of the St. Thomas mission, Connect Four helps students participate in various events, programs and campus services; discuss their experiences with a small group of peers; and engage in individual reflection. In addition to various incentives throughout the semester, students who complete the semester-long program will be recognized for their involvement and commitment to the community and the Spirit of St. Thomas Awards Ceremony.
