  1. Do I need an appointment?


    An appointment is preferable. We will make every effort to see patients on a walk-in basis, however, those individuals with appointments will be given priority.

  2. Where are you located? 

    We are located in the lower level of Brady Residence Hall.  We are all most directly beneath the Skyway that connects Morrison and Koch.  There is a wheelchair ramp leading up to the front door of the clinic.

  3. What are your hours?  

    Our regular clinic hours Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.  (Please note that we are closed from Noon until 1:00 p.m. each day for lunch.)

  4. What services do you provide? 

    The following services are provided: Acute injuries and illness care, allergy injections, blood pressure monitoring, chronic illness care, gynecology exams, immunizations, laboratory services, physical exams, pregnancy testing, STD testing, treatment & education, smoking cessation and more.

  5. Who works in Student Health Services?  

    We are staffed by Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, MDs including Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine and a Psychiatrist. We do not hire student employees.

  6. What are the fees?

    Services received at the clinic will be submitted to your Health Insurance Company for you. There is a charge for immunizations and prescription drugs received at Student Health Services.

  7. Is this information confidential?  

    Yes. No aspect of your care will be shared with anyone without your written permission.

  8. Is health insurance required at Student Health Service? 

    All undergraduate students who are taking 12 or more credits and graduate students taking 9 or more credits are required to have health insurance. Any student will be able to access SHS. Services received will be submitted to the health insurance company or to the student if he/she does not have health insurance.
