STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE

UST Mandatory Insurance Requirements

Undergraduate students enrolled in 12 or more credits and graduate, professional or law students enrolled in 9 or more  credits are required to demonstrate health insurance coverage every fall and spring semester. Students who meet this requirement must complete the health insurance verification process or they will automatically be enrolled in and billed for the UST sponsored plan (Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan) for that semester. Students who do not meet the credit requirement for health insurance may voluntarily purchase the Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan during the enrollment periods.

Domestic students must enter their health insurance information or purchase the Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan via Murphy Online at https://banner.stthomas.edu.  Students will receive reminders each semester to complete this process.

If you are an international student on a F1 or J1 visa, please click here to review specific F1/J1 health insurance requirements.
