Health Insurance 2011 - 12
All full time, degree seeking students need to demonstrate health insurance each fall during open enrollment period. Students will be asked to enter their existing health insurance or purchase our student sponsored plan, Aetna Student Health. Communications on the Aetna Plan and enrollment process will be sent to students beginning in August.
Healthcare Reform Bill:
The healthcare reform legislation will not effect our student health insurance plan for this academic year. Impact of this legislation is still being determined at the federal and state levels. We will put a link to reform facts or effects on our student insurance as soon as available.
Faculty and Staff:
If you are seen at Minneapolis Health Services, you will be asked to present your insurance card. We will submit the claims to your insurance company. Any remaining balance not paid by insurance will be your responsibility.
