Non-Exempt Staff Council Study Abroad Scholarship

planeCongratulations to Rachel Johnson, our 2013 Winner of the Study Abroad Scholarship!

Rachel Johnson, a senior at St. Thomas, is this year’s scholarship recipient and in January 2013 she traveled to Botswana and participated in a course called “UST: Millennium Development Goals for Biology, Health and Economics in Botswana.”   Rachel is working on a double major - Community Health and Business Administration.

 

About the scholarship: 

This scholarship is awarded annually to a student enrolled as an undergraduate at the University of St. Thomas.

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide a scholarship for degree-seeking undergraduate UST students who are accepted into a study abroad program. Preference is given to students in the following order: (1) a non-exempt staff member; (2) child of a non-exempt staff member.

Criteria:

  • Undergraduate enrolled in a degree-seeking program at the University of St. Thomas
  • Non-exempt staff member or child of non-exempt staff member
  • Student traveling abroad
