Teaching: A Reflective Process

This course introduces Theology II seminarians to the life, thought, and importance of key ecclesial figures and movements that exhibit the transformative power of the Gospel in a particular social setting. The course emphasizes the Church's catechetical engagement and the vision of the Church and the priesthood as a catalyst for social transformation. It introduces strategies that enable students to apply this learning in their own diocese. Made possible by the Archbishop Harry J. Flynn Institute in Homiletics Endowment Fund, this experience typically takes place in Ireland or England.
